about me

My name is Isabelle Hernandez. I am a documentary and fine art photographer, based in Dallas, Texas.

When I was only in elementary school, my first camera became my best friend. I would spend hours in the backyard waiting for just the right moment, and since then, I have only deepened my passion for photography by acquainting myself with the diverse cultures of the world. Through my lens, I have learned to appreciate all of the small and beautiful moments that life has to offer.

Throughout my career thus far, I have created "Lost" as a reflection and introspection on the solitary experience. From coast to coast and across the seas, I have been inspired by my own solitude and by the mirroring of that in both the human and natural landscapes around me. I discovered an overwhelming appreciation for the earth's embrace and losing oneself in that welcomed feeling.
